Acts of Kindness
Life, at times, can be overly burdensome and difficult. The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that approximately 16 million adults in the United States experienced at least one major depressive episode in 2015. As part of our “Acts of Kindness” program, Waypoint Project volunteers will focus a percentage of time randomly serving people throughout the communities in which we serve. This could manifest itself in a simple gift, a tank of gas, or a moment of affection. While we cannot prevent those millions of depressive episodes from happening, hopefully we can help shoulder someone else’s burden and brighten their day with an act of kindness.
How We Help
HOW YOU CAN HELP
VOLUNTEER
The most valuable resource that the Waypoint Project has is people like you. Without our volunteers, we simply could not successfully complete our mission. If you’ve got the time and the drive, consider volunteering with Waypoint.
DONATE
If you’re unable to give your time to the Waypoint Project but you’re still interesting in helping, we rely solely on funds donated by people like you. Consider donating to help fund Waypoint’s mission.
