Hunger Relief

According to Feeding America, more than 37 million Americans, including 11 million children, currently struggle with “food insecurity.” A part of Waypoint Project’s mission is to lower that number by utilizing our team members and resources to meet people where they are and help them achieve food security immediately and long-term. These teams will identify vulnerable populations and deploy to their areas to provide hot meals, clean water, and other supplies that will help provide them with a greater food security as well as access to resources that will help educate them and lift them up from the cycle of food insecurity.

How We Help

FEED THE HUNGRY

We send out teams into areas that are most at risk of being food-insecure. We feed those who are hungry, serving them hot meals made by our wonderful team members. When we’re not serving this communities, we turn our focus to those who serve us, feeding first responders, etc.

ESTABLISH A ROUTINE

As we serve those in at-risk communities, Waypoint works to ensure that we can be a reliable source of nutrition and support. No matter rain, snow, or Texas heat, we strive to be the dependable link in those communities.

DISTRIBUTE DONATIONS

Working with partners in each community, we send our teams, equipped with our donor-provided resources, to provide immediate relief to areas in need in the form of hot meals, access to clean water, distribution of life sustaining supplies, and love.

CONNECT WITH RESOURCES

We will partner with local food banks and established providers to connect those in need with the resources they need for long-term food security to help raise them out of the cycle of food insecurity and establish healthy habits with the goal of future self-sufficiency and the ability to help others along their way.
